'Vampire Diaries' spoilers: Candice Accola teases Klaus and Caroline

Will Caroline give in to Klaus?

"The Vampire Diaries" aired an all-new episode on Channel 6 in Tempe last night. On Thursday, Feb. 21, TV Guide shared the latest comments made by Candice Accola about her character and what is coming next on the series. If you missed any of the previously released photos or spoilers for this series, check out the related topics link for season four on the left sidebar for more news.

On last night's episode, Caroline was dealing with the absence of Tyler after his departure last week. Klaus was missing in action, but he will be back. Things will heat up between Klaus and Caroline in upcoming episodes. Episode 18 has already been teased as a big Klaus and Caroline episode by Joseph Morgan. Candice Accola has now shared more about what her character sees in the hybrid. She said the following, according to TV Guide:

Vampire Diaries 4.16 Extended Preview
"What brings out Caroline's openness is that... Klaus [reminds her] that there's a whole other world out there. She can travel and experience things and grow and learn, and that's been implanted in Caroline's brain and she can't get it out. Klaus is the only person she can dream big with. It's not that 'we can run away in the sunset and be in love' dream that she has with Tyler, but it's running off to Paris alone and being independent. That's enticing. ... Klaus has aroused those thoughts in Caroline."

Caroline is still very much in love with Tyler though, but previous spoilers have revealed that Tyler will not be seen in Mystic Falls or on this series again in season four. She continued to call him on last night's episode when the group was dealing with Jeremy's death.

Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

this show keeps getting crazier and crazier bye bye jer , hello silas #vampirediaries #whatsgoingtohappennow

"The Vampire Diaries" will continue to air on Channel 6 in Tempe on Thursday nights.
